Rules for Joining the Guild
As you go through various forms to join the Guild, someone taps your shoulder. You turn and
see Nervlich standing behind you. "Uh...I see you're thinking about joining, but there are a
few things I need to tell you before you join the guild...And these might change later, as
these are the rules enforced by the previous Guild Leaders before they left:"
- You must be able to use more than one type of magic (even a type that you created), or
at least be willing to learn how to use magic (if you currently are unable to).
- If you don't like magic, don't join.
- Please try and use proper spelling and grammar while you're here...Trying to read through
a post with bad spelling and grammar is not only a pain for me to read, but for the other
RolePlayers reading it as well.
- You must treat other members with respect.
- I won't take any "He started it first..." crap. If you fight, you pay.
- If you are unable to RP for an extended amount of time (due to personal reasons, or that
your character cannot participate in the Guild for some reason), make sure you (or someone
that knows you) can notify me about this so I
can mark you as unavailable, and avoid removing you due to inactivity until you return,
provided you're not going to be gone for too long.
- If I do not get any notification that you will be gone, and you haven't participated in the
guild for an extended period of time, I will be forced to take action: After two months of
inactivity, payment for your job will be put on hold (if a substitute is available, they
will take over until you return), and you will be marked as inactive on the members list.
After four months, I will remove your character from the members list and fire you from
any jobs you may be holding (though I will keep your information available elsewhere in
case you return). After six months of inactivity, you will be dropped from the guild; I
will unsubscribe you from the boards and remove all information regarding your character
(bio, MGP total, salary, classroom/job pages, etc.) from the site.
- Try to participate; If you don't participate by only posting a few times (or avoiding
posting altogether) within a week from sending in your form, I will not add you to the
members list. Post as often as possible, so that I know you're going to be an active
participant at the guild.
- If you don't want to be a member anymore, please tell me so I can remove your character.
- And most importantly...Have Fun!
"I hope this has given you a bit more in the way of a decision. Take care!" Nervlich waves
and walks off.
So, do you want to join the Guild?
(The Membership Form Information and Numistar's Character Bio pages were created by Wild
Mage Strovil. At the moment, Numistar's character bio is incomplete, and there are some
blank fields as a result of this.)
