When the empire first began to monitor her powers, they found immense magic radiating from her. They conducted intensive tests, and drained half her magic genes, and replaced those missing genes with human ones. While she was a soldier of the Empire, she gained access to everything. One day, she snuck into the weapons room, and snatched a staff of crystal, thinking it befitting to her name. Little did she know, the staff was taken from a powerful wizard who would do anything to retrieve it. Later, Crysta tamed a dragon, who she named Kiop. On a mission to the Esper world with the entire Army of the Empire, all of her memories returned to her, but she didn't reveal them to anyone. And as much as it pained her to kill her fellow Espers, she went along with it. Soon after the mission, she was given a leave of absence. The Empire had secretly kept all of her powers, and was using them along with the genes of Magicite, to create their own artificial Espers.

On her break, she arrived at the town of Windor. She offered to help a group of Windorians on a quest, and went along with them. Along the way, Crysta fell unconscious. The rest of the group proceeded ahead, but a man named Skyler stayed behind and monitored her thoughts. He rediscovered that he and Crysta were siblings, and then they returned to Windor. When they returned, they gathered three people to help them find Sibelius, and bring a wraith down upon him. Illumina, Excalibur, and Ragnarok aided them on their journey. Skyler got veered off course on the way, and stumbled upon the Village of Mist. He battled against Garn, a Caller. He won, and Garn came along with them, though Ragnarok and Crysta did not trust him. They eventually found Sibelius, and upon meeting him, he called upon the Magicite of Abadus and Emana, but they were not as they had been once before. They were possessed by Entanebx, a person who was more or less the evil side of Ragnarok, from an alternate dimension. They battled with Crysta and Skyler, and Skyler was killed. In complete and utter withdrawl, Crysta left Windor, and Skyler.

Skyler was later revived, but Crysta didn't hear about it for a few months. In that time, she was at the Miscellaneous Magic Users Guild, a guild for magic-users. Soon, The Guildmistress, Kitra, was murdered. Amrick, the co-guildmaster, gave the MMG away to Crysta and Lika, and left. A couple months later, Crysta left the MMG and resided in a small cave a few miles from the MMG. She tamed a legendary silver wyvern to watch over her, as well as her dragon, Kiop. While there, she spent a lot of time alone, thinking over her life, reassessing her priorities, and such. In her cave, while she was alone, she made offerings and prayers to gods, and in return, her magic powers increased. She became a lot stronger, wiser, and more sensitive to things around her. Eventually, she returned to the MMG, where she currently resides.
