Job Descriptions for the MMG
| Job | Description |
| Black Magic Teacher |
This teacher will instruct students on the various offensive magic techniques. This
class is very general, so it helps if the teacher is well-rounded in the subject.

| Blue Magic Teacher |
This teacher will instruct students on techniques to employ when dealing with and
learning the various magics used by monsters and mystical creatures.
|
| Red Magic Teacher |
This teacher is given the task of teaching students the art of mixing both Black and
White magic, resulting in symbiotic spells effects.
|
| White Magic Teacher |
This instructor will teach the general White Magic program. This includes basic
knowledge of White Magic, such as low level cures, low level attack spells, etc.

| Acoustic Magic Teacher |
This teacher instructs the subject of magic produced with sounds. Also known as bardic,
this mystic field involves the effects of imbuing magic into song.

| Atomic Magic Teacher |
One of the more tricky fields, Atomic magics involve changing molecular structures,
creating effects such as molecule degeneration, and nuclear energy creation. Somewhat
advanced.

| Curative Magic Teacher |
This teacher, a major in White Magic, must have in-depth knowledge of curative spells
(such as Life Plus or Cure X). A specialized, more advanced class for White Magic-based
mages.

| Cosmic Magic Teacher |
This teacher is required to instruct in the area of magics dealing with stars. A
versatile field, it sometimes includes curriculum based on divination, massive attack
spells (such as Meteo), or healing (such as Starlight).

| Dimensional Magic Teacher |
This instructor is a master of the dimensions. He/she is expected to teach spells such as
X-Zone, or other effects that deal with other-dimensions (such as plane-shifting).

| Draconic Magic Teacher |
This teacher is devoted to magics involving dragons. This can range from Dragon charm
spells to synthetic breath weapons.

| Earth Magic Teacher |
A person specialized in the magic of the Earth. Such spells like StoneSkin or Quicksands
are examples of spells usually selected for instruction.

| Fire Magic Teacher |
A person specialized in the magic of Flame. Such spells like Faerie Fire and WildFire
are often taught to students.
|
| Gravity Magic Teacher |
Gravity magics are often very useful in indirect, subtle ways. Its strength lies not in
direct damage, but in immobilizing an opponent, or making it much more difficult to attack.
Imagine swinging a sword that feels like it weighs 400 pounds...

| Holy Magic Teacher |
A teacher who is adept at using Holy magic might be willing to teach spells that disrupt
the undead, or perhaps even the namesake spell, Holy, itself. Also, Holy magic becomes
more versatile at advanced stages, allowing this discipline of magic the ability to be
curative, defensive and offensive.

| Ice Magic Teacher |
A person specialized in the magic of cold. Such spells as IceArrow or ColdSnap are
examples of an average teaching assignment.

| Legendary Magic Teacher |
A teacher with the knowledge of the ancients. This person is unusually adapt at spell
casting, and has gained knowledge of spells thought of only in the legends, such as
Doomsday and Mass-Life.

| Lightning/Electric Magic Teacher |
A sub-branch of the Storm Magic class, a Lightning/Electric Magic Teacher specializes
in just one area of Storm Magic, just strengthening one part of the whole. A nice direct
damage class, the Lightning/Electric magic type has both concentrated and area spells, making
it a versatile magic type.

| Lunar Magic Teacher |
This professor teaches magics that have to do with the moon. Some examples of Lunar
Magic include Moonbeams (healing), High Tides (offensive), and Moonshine...No, wait...

| Necromancy Magic Teacher |
Necromancy: A lost art dealing exclusively with the creation and upkeep of undead
constructs. Necromancy is a difficult field to master, but the resulting troops can
prove effective allies in battle, whether alone or in groups, provided the creator is
strong enough to control all of them at once. Also important to note is that Necromancy
is one of the few schools that requires the use of a well kept laboratory setting.

| Osmotic Magic Teacher |
Osmotic magics are perfect for beginning mages. Most osmotic spells work well against
higher-powered mages, using an equilibrium balance to drain vital elements such as
strength or magic energy and transfer these elements to the caster.

| Poisonous Magic Teacher |
This is a teacher who specializes in the fields of Disease. Spells ranging from simple
toxins to full-blown virus attacks are examples of spells from this field.
|
| Runic Magic Teacher |
A spell caster who uses runes (pictographs). Teachers often instruct the drawing of such
runes, and invoking their power some time after the original "casting."
|
| Solar Magic Teacher |
A teacher with the ability to turn energy from the sun into spells and effects. Usually,
Solar magic is used for indirect spells, but occasionally spells such as Solar Flare can
be cast.

| Spirit Magic Teacher |
A person adept at spiritual manifestations. Out-of-body travel, chi blasts, and effects
that deal with supernatural occurrences are all effects that may be covered in this
position.
|
| Status Magic Teacher |
This instructor is expected to teach magics that inflict various status effects on
targets, such as Float, etc.
|
| Storm Magic Teacher |
This position is available for those who understand how to reign in the power of storms
and weather. The teacher usually has knowledge of such things as hurricanes, gale force
winds, lightning, ect.
|
| Sword Magic Teacher |
Involves using a sword to magnify the effects of mystic energy. Such tricks as making an
elemental blade and absorbing spells in a sword are often part of the learning experience.
|
| Time Magic Teacher |
The time magic teacher is charged with sharing his/her knowledge of temporal magics.
These spells include effects that speed up or slow down the target, or even suspend all
time itself in a small or large radius. One of the more powerful spell classes.

| Unholy Magic Teacher |
Involves spell effects that are attuned to the dark plane. Spells that drain life force
and other non-good effects are often lumped into this category. Also, Unholy magic
becomes more versatile at advanced stages, allowing this discipline of magic the ability
to cast curative, defensive and offensive spells using their Unholy energies.

| Useless Magic Teacher |
What? What's so useless about turning someone into a strawberry pie? That, I shall never
understand...Anywho, Useless magics are the types of spells that don't fit into any
other category.

| Warp Magic Teacher |
A teacher who specializes in teleportation tricks. Such things as shadowporting,
transporting, and space-time continuum loops are fortes of this teacher.
|
| Water Magic Teacher |
A person who specializes in the field of Aqua magics. Spells such as Drops of Kindness
or even Tsunami may be part of the learning experience.
|
| Wind Magic Teacher |
A person who specializes in the field of Air magics. Spells like Whirlwind or White Wind
are often taught in this school of magic.

| Magic Smith |
This is a step up from a regular smith. The employee under this position is expected to
create weapons and armors, with the occasional odd accessory, and imbue that creation
with any one of several magical effects. The smith is usually requested to be
experienced in Status Magic and some form of Elemental Magic.

| Magic Specialist |
This person is unusually strong in several fields of magic. Usually, this person's role
in society is to provide advice to aspiring mages as to what field of magic they should
pursue, or provide back up and assistance to other teachers.

| Magic Upgrader |
A magic upgrader is a person who enhances the mystic ability of another wizard. Most
often, Magic Upgraders are pursued when it is no longer possible to personally upgrade
your magical status (i.e. Percentages). Also, Magic Upgraders will often bring out the
enchantments on items manifold.

| Psionics Teacher |
This teacher is a specialist in the field of mind magic. Often, psionics are very
powerful, enabling users to control others via a mental link, communicating through
telepathy, or lifting objects via telekinesis.
|
| Shapeshifting Teacher |
This teacher explains the secrets of metamorphism (changing shapes). One who is
particularly good at changing from a human to a 90 foot dragon in less than a minute
would be a prime example for one who would pursue teaching this somewhat difficult
subject.

| Summon Teacher |
This teacher, one of the most sought after, is able to bestow on others the knowledge
needed to call monsters, items, and powerful beings from other planes.

| Illusionist |
This specialist is able to create nearly perfect replicas of other things. From
"summoning" a huge dragon, to making a room appear empty, the illusionist is a versatile
mage with a bunch of tricks up his or her sleeves...That is, if they really are sleeves...

| Medical Specialist |
The medical specialist is one who relies on the knowledge of herbs and ancient,
nonmagical techniques to heal others. Usually, as a side job, this expert will brew
items such as Potions and Remedies to sell to local shops.
|
| Physical Trainer |
This teacher of sorts works with students to improve vital stats such as Dexterity,
Speed, and Strength. This teacher usually also presides over events at the battle arena
as a side job.
|
| Priest |
The priest usually takes care of the community in a hands on fashion. The priest handles
such tasks as removing toxins, providing rest to weary travelers, or giving console to
members of society.
|
| Psionicist |
Though not an instructor of the arts of Psionics, a Psionicist is still a vital part of
the Guild. Usually, a Psionicist's jobs are to purge effects that deal with the mentality
of the victim (much like a mental healer), or to protect important buildings by setting
off a mental alarm trigger.

| MMG Archivist |
The Archivist deals with the records and countes of members of the Guild. Usually, he or
she is given the task of dusting off the unused manuscripts of the past :)

| MMG Caretaker |
The MMG caretakers are given the highly important responsibility of making sure the
Guildhall runs smoothly and efficiently. He/she usually works behind the scenes, making
sure the guild is welcoming and functioning to its max. So, if you don't see anything
wrong with your current home, its all thanks to our Caretakers.

| Shop Owner |
That's right! Now you, yes you, can sell all the junk...Uh, I mean wares...That you
might have lying around the house...Er...I mean secretly cashed away somewhere safe
and sound... |
| Shop Employee |
You work in a shop somewhere. Do I really need to explain this any further? Wow... :)

| Knowledge Seeker |
The sages of the town. Usually, knowledge seeker want to amplify the standard of living
by informing fellow citizens of news and important events that are happening in or
around the Guild. |
| Peacekeeper |
These are the few, the proud, and the well-paid citizens who are charged with the task
of keeping fellow guildsmembers out of trouble. This job can sometimes be a dangerous
one, but it is by far one of the most needed and helpful jobs available in the guild.

| Animal Breeder |
A master in genetics! This person is charged with making sure such creatures as the
Phoenix or Dracolitch live on through new generations. This person is excellent in
providing training for already born pets as a side job. |
| Blacksmith |
A blacksmith is a master of item creation. A smith will usually spend his day repairing
damaged weapons and armors, creating new weapons and armor, or experimenting with
different materials to create new and better items to sell to the community. Many people
rely on smiths to provide them with the means to defend themselves and the community in
which they live. |
| Cemetery Keeper |
The Cemetery Keeper has the often times depressing job of preparing the deceased members
(and family of members) of the Guild for their departure into the afterlife. Often, the
Cemetery Keeper also is charged with preparing a newly slain body (often with Temporal
Magics or some Healing skill) for a ressurection that will take place sometime in the
future.

| Hunter/Gatherer |
What could be more important then feeding those with whom you live with? The Hunter will
search the area around the MMG for game and other edible foods. So, when you find
yourself gorging yourself full in the winter, you have the Hunter's hard work to thank.
|
| Jeweler |
The jeweler practices his or her craft in order to refine the ability to create works of
art, from the mundane, to the magnificent. Often, these pieces of jewelry will be imbued
with some sort of enchantment, so knowledge in that field (or collaborative efforts
between a jeweler and an enchanter) is greatly beneficial.

| Ranger |

| Shipbuilder |
A shipbuilder's job is one that requires vast knowledge of engineering and architecture.
This person will build ships that cross the vast seas most often, allowing the Guild
access to many neighboring kingdoms. However, shipbuilders are sometimes charged with the
task of constructing an airship, the ships of the sky. |
