Ye Olde Auction House

As you step into the large house, you immediately notice the rows of seats and chairs and the podium complete with hammer at the end of the large wooden hall. The back of the auction house is covered by a long draping curtain of heavy red velvet. You walk over to see what's under, but before you can a minotaur and elf pop out from behind the curtain. Startled at first, they just blink at you. The minotaur recovers first.

"Hey, ya can't go back there." He rumbles. The elf woman standing beside him laughs and nods.

"I'm afraid he's right. That's employee's only. You can view the items we have for auction on the list next to the door." Zipping up her red vest, she walks back to the counter next to the doorway. Her minotaur companion takes a seat in the audiance and begins to go over an inventory list.

Read This:

You can auction on any item at any time. Five days after the previous bid for an item, it will be given to the highest bidder. All that will be written up here about the objects is thier appearance, not powers or enchantments. Those will be revealed after the auction. This is very important: You must have MGP to bid. If you don't have enough MGP to pay for it, your bid will be discounted and the previous bidder will get the item if he/she bids the highest. And we only accept MGP, not other items, no other type of credit from another Guild or Kingdom, just MGP. So obviously, only members can bid.

You cannot add items to the board. Only Lika, Ragnarok, and Fergard can do that. If you add something to the list, it will be taken down immediately. You can only reply a post to state your bid. All you need is your name, and the bid you make. Understood?

You can submit items for auction below, and they'll be added immediately. You get whatever your auction item earns (e.g. If you sent in an item and the decision for starting bid is 30 MGP, and the rate goes clear up to 280 MGP, you will get 230 MGP. That's the earning of your item minus a 50 MGP submission). If nobody bids on your item, you get it. You can only set up one item to bid each week. These items can be from your personal inventory, something you found on an adventure, or maybe just something you conjured out of thin air. That's acceptable. Repeating what I said above, five days after the final bid, the item will be given to the highest bidder.

When sending in an item for the auction, you must have your name, E-Mail, a detailed description of the item, and whatever magical properties, etc., that is has. If possible, please try to also include the type of item you are auctioning, as well as a reasonable starting bid, to make sure your item gets put up on the Auction board as soon as possible. So, enjoy your time at the auction house, and hopefully you'll get something neat and worth your MGP.
