Explanation of Summoning

Summoning is the art of attraction in a way. In order to summon a creature, you must have a link to them, or have something they want. There are three types of summons known so far. Espers, Summons and Guardian Forces.

Espers
Espers can be easily summoned, needed only a link to the material world to be called from the Summon plane. All Summon creatures exist in the Summon Plane, unless they have a mild amount of control over their own selves and are able to reside where they choose to.
Espers are very powerful and have personalities all their own to work by, and to attack by. They reside in some worlds all Esper have at the very least; a minimal amount of control over their own destinies. You only need skill to summon an Esper.

Summon Creatures
Summons are like Espers in a way, but are never able to leave the Summon Plane unless called. You need a physical link to the Summon Plane to call them forth. Most people tie summons with materia to have a link and so by using the materia, they are able to call forth the summon. Summn are very powerful and use all types of movement and weaponry to attack. Some use a combination of magic and physical power, while others may use only one of the two, or none at all. Very few summons use nothing at all to attack, for that makes them fairly useless, and so are never tied into materia. You need materia to summon a Summon Creature.

Guardian Forces
Gurdian Forces are the newest Summon Creatures known. There are a vast amount of Guardian Forces known throughout the world, many still need to be discovered. Guardian Forces exist as creatures in the normal world until somebody challenges and defeats them in a battle. If the Beasts is impressed with it's combatants skills, it may choose to become a Gurdian Force to continue it's existance. It is then tied into an owner and can be junctioned to give the person the ability to summon it. Guardian Forces are the worst kind of Summon to use however, because they cause memory loss and can sometimes become a challenge to control. If they escape, they may be challenged again. Guardian Forces exist in the Summon Plane when they are used and/or junctioned.
